The sealing method of an OPP bag is a key factor determining its ease of use and packaging effect. The most common sealing method is the "stamped back seal bag," which is the most mainstream form of OPP bag on the market. It has a seam on the back, and a self-sealing strip on each side of the bag opening. One self-sealing strip has a raised stud, and the other has a corresponding groove. To use, simply press the stud into the groove to seal; to open, simply pull gently. This type of seal can be opened and closed tens of thousands of times, making it extremely convenient and ideal for occasions requiring frequent access to contents, such as the storage of stationery, electronic components, and jewelry. The second type is the "heat-sealed bag." This type of bag does not have a self-sealing strip; the opening is open and requires a heat sealer or a simple iron to press and seal the opening at high temperature. This sealing method provides complete airtightness; once sealed, it cannot be easily opened. It is a one-time seal and is mainly used for products with extremely high requirements for moisture and oxidation prevention, such as tea, precision metal parts, and collectibles. The third type is the "headgear bag," which has a U-shaped or straight plastic strip inserted at the bag opening. The bag opening is sealed by wrapping the strip around it. The sealing effect is also very good, and it can be reused. It is commonly used for larger-sized packaging. The choice of which sealing method to use depends on your overall needs for sealing, reusability, and packaging efficiency.
